Al-Fidaa Foundation is a dynamic public benefit organization (PBO No: 930 033 996) that aims to uplift impoverished individuals, irrespective of creed, race, or culture. Our comprehensive approach focuses not only on providing emergency relief but also on equipping people with the skills, education, and opportunities necessary to achieve financial independence and dignity. We are a BBBEE Level 1 compliant organization, committed to creating impactful change, fostering resilience, and ensuring that no one is left behind in our pursuit of community empowerment.
We ensure that families in need receive nutritious meals to fight hunger. These initiatives include distributing food parcels and hot meals to combat malnutrition and support overall health.
Through our skills centers in Port Elizabeth, Durban, and Pretoria, we offer courses in baking, sewing, culinary arts, computer literacy, and more. These accredited programs empower individuals with the skills they need to gain employment or start their own businesses, breaking the cycle of poverty
From providing food hampers, clothing, and blankets to offering counseling and support at our White Door Centre, we address the immediate and long-term needs of the most vulnerable members of our society. Our water relief projects also ensure that communities have access to clean water during times of shortage.
We partner with local and national stakeholders to support grassroots entrepreneurship and community-driven initiatives. Our goal is to create a thriving ecosystem where every individual has the opportunity to succeed.
Al-Fidaa Foundation is a registered non-profit organization (NPO No: 070-651) and is compliant with Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) regulations.
We are proud to be recognized as a BBBEE Level 1 organization, and we issue Section 18A certificates for all donations, making contributions tax-exempt.
